David Gibson, AIA, president of DF Gibson Architects, P.C. announces that Peter Pivko, AIA has joined the firm as associate/studio director, and Lawrence Jackson and Mark S. Goeller as project managers.
Mr. Pivko brings over twenty-five years experience in architecture, project management, real estate development, construction and the solar industry in both the United States and Canada. He has overseen projects in excess of $200 million and has managed projects locally and internationally. Prior to joining DF Gibson Architects, he worked for SOSH Architects and SunEdison and had his own design firm in Ottawa, Ontario. He has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carleton University. At DF Gibson, he will be responsible for operational management of the firm’s studios.
Mr. Goeller brings over twenty years of architectural experience in design and project management with an emphasis on health care facilities. Prior to joining DF Gibson Architects, he was Director of Extended Care Architecture for Erickson Retirement Communities, Director of Healthcare Facilities for J.A. Ammon & Associates, and worked for Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and RTKL Associates. He holds a Bachelor of Science Design (Architecture) and a Master of Architecture, Health Care Facilities Planning and Design Studio from Clemson University. At DF Gibson Architects, he will be responsible for construction site observation, and administration of the construction contract and the coordination of the multi-disciplinary team.
