The new Kindergarten through 8th Grade, 80,000 sf school is located in the residential Inwood neighborhood of northern Manhattan. It will include a basement and five floors above grade with a 3,000 s.f. Early Childhood Play Area and a 6,000 s.f. rooftop Play Area for older children. The new building will include wireless LAN and internet access throughout, and will be fully air-conditioned and sprinklered. The design has been selected as a planning prototype by the SCA. Construction will begin in Fall, 2007 and be completed by September, 2009.
